A healthy beneficial bacteria colony will be more efficient at processing nitrogenous waste, such as ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate, leading to a healthier and stable aquarium.
These super porous bricks are suitable for both fresh and saltwater aquariums, and they will fit nicely into canister filters and sumps.

Dymax Pro-Lite should be thoroughly rinsed, to remove dust, prior to being placed in aquarium equipment.
Once established, cleaning should be done regularly to remove any debris and unhealthy bacteria.
Filter material should only be cleaned using tank water since the chlorine and chloramines in tap water will kill all the beneficial bacteria needed for a healthy tank.
